Zastava M48 in 7.92mm Mauser. Overall this rifle is in excellent condition. Mechanically it functions as it should. The bore is bright and mirrorlike with strong lands and grooves. The rifle retains about 98% of its original blued finish. There are minor handling marks across the furniture and trigger guard along edge wear on the barrel band and frontcap. The bolt, stock, and floorplate all match with the serial number of 62747. The serial number on the receiver is 62742, however as it is only different by a single digit there is highly likely that rather than the rifle being mismatched, there was a manufacturing defect resulting in an incorrect serial number. Photos are provided for all mentioned serial numbers. The Yugoslavian crest is present and in excellent condition (see images). This would make an excellent collector's rifle.
