German Police Issued Steyr-Pieper 1908/34 "Tip Up"

Steyr-Pieper 1908/34 “tip up” chambered in .32 ACP. This pistol is in excellent condition overall. Cosmetically this pistol is excellent. There is nearly 90% of the original bluing remaining. The wood grips are in excellent condition, free of any cracks or splits. This pistol is not import marked, and has been police marked on the grip "S.W. 7861"(SEE PICTURES). Meaning,  Schützpolizei Westphalian, Security Police of the State of Westphalia, Germany pistol number 7861. There is also some illegible letters and numbers lightly scratched on the top of the slide (SEE PICTURES). This pistol gets the name “tip up” because it was designed to have the barrel pivot down in order for this pistol to be used as a single shot. The bore is bright and mirror-like with strong lands and grooves. Included with this pistol is an original leather holster. This pistol would be perfect for any German or Austrian pistol collection!
