Steyr M95 Straight Pull Rifle in 8x56R. Overall this rifle is in very good condition. Mechanically it functions as it should. The bore is dark with heavy frosting, strong lands and grooves. All visible serial numbers are matching, including the bolt. There are very minor handling marks on the stock as well as the receiver and barrel. The top of the receiver is marked "STEYR M95". Both the right side of the receiver and barrel shank have an Austrian proof mark. The top of the barrel shank is marked with "W-n-20", which is the acceptance mark to the Austrian Army in 1920. There is also an "S" and an Austrian proof mark. The rear sight is a ladder type, which is adjustable for elevation. This rifle is import marked by Tennessee Guns International. It includes one clip. This rifle is C&R eligible. This would be great to add to any collection.
