Smith Corona 03-A3 Rifle in .30-06. This rifle has a left handed stock and a right handed action, and has been completely sporterized. Overall this rifle is in very good to excellent condition. Mechanically it functions as it should. The bore is semi dark with strong lands and grooves. The stock has a few very minor handling marks on it. This rifle has been refinished, and is now blued instead of parkerized, which would have been its original finish. The top of the receiver is marked with "U.S. SMITH CORONA MODEL 03-A3", however, it is very difficult to see. Beneath that is the serial number. The front and rear sights are made by Lyman. The rear sight is adjustable for windage and elevation. According to the serial number, this rifle was manufactured in 1944. This would be good for target practice.
