Rare U.S Military Stevens 520-30 Riot Shotgun
Rare U.S. Military Stevens 520-30 Shotgun chambered in 12 GA. This shotgun is in excellent condition overall. Cosmetically this shotgun is in excellent condition. There is nearly 90% + of the original finish remaining. The wood furniture is in excellent unsanded condition with a clear military inspector cartouche, although there is some damage to the plastic buttplate (SEE PICTURES). The bore is bright and mirror-like, unfortunately someone has in stilled a Lyman Cutts Compensator on the end of the barrel that is did not originally have. Mechanically this shotgun is in excellent condition, and it functions as it should. This shotgun is U.S Ordnance marked both on the receiver and barrel. It is also marked “U.S” above the trigger guard, meaning that this shotgun was U.S Armed Forces property at some point, likely World War II or Korea. Original owner electro-penciled their social security number into the side of the receiver, which was a common practice in the past to prevent theft (SEE PICTURES). This shotgun would be an excellent addition to any U.S Military small arms collection! C&R eligible! NOT import marked!
