Federal Firearms Co Mauser Rifle in .270 Win. Overall this rifle is in excellent condition. Mechanically it functions as it should. The bore is bright and mirror like, with strong lands and grooves. There are very minor handling marks on the stock, as well as the barrel and receiver. There is very minor discoloration on the bolt release and the bolt itself. This rifle's finish is at about 97 percent. This rifle is a custom built sporting rifle built on the legendary Mauser 98 platform. It was custom built by Federal Firearms Co. Inc. in Federal, PA. This rifle features a Mauser action, a Weaver K4 60-B 4x zoom rifle scope, front and rear sling mounts, and a thumb safety. The thumb safety is located on the right side of the receiver, unlike a traditional Mauser rifle, where the safety is located on the bolt. This would make a great addition to any collection.
