Beautiful Unissued Polish Radom M44 Rifle 7.62x54R. Overall this rifle is in excellent, like new condition. Mechanically it functions like it should. The bore is bright and mirror like, with strong lands and grooves. The only imperfections on this gun are on the stock, where there are a few extremely minor handling marks. The top of the barrel shank is marked with an "11" in a circle, which is the country code for Poland. It is also marked with the serial number, as well as "1952", which is the year it was made. This rifle is an unissued Polish copy of the Russian M44 Mosin Nagant, and is all matching. This rifle is equipped with its original side-folding spike bayonet, as well as its original cleaning rod.  The front sight is a hooded post dovetailed to the barrel. The rear sight is a U notched sliding escalator attached to the barrel. This rifle was imported by CDI, and includes the original box from the importer. This would be great to add to your Mosin Nagant collection. If you're looking for a Polish M44 Mosin Nagant, this example would be hard to improve on. This rifle is C&R eligible.
