1944 dated Finnish Tikka Hex Receiver Mosin Nagant 91/30 Austrian Capture
1944 dated Finnish Tikka 91/30 Austrian Capture chambered in 7.6254R. This rifle is in very good condition overall. Cosmetically this rifle is in very good condition. There is nearly 80% of the original finish remaining. The wood "pot-bellied" stock is in very good condition, but does have some damage on the upper wood hand guard (SEE PICTURES). The bore is bright and mirror-like with strong lands and grooves. This rifle is all matching and is import marked on the barrel. Mechanically this rifle is in very good condition and it functions as it should. This rifle was built off of a captured 1917 dated Izhevsk hex receiver mosin nagant. It features a "pot-bellied" stock and an "S" on the barrel shank, signifying that this rifle was captured by the Austrians. This rifle is marked "125475" which is the Civil Guard district of Etelä-Pohjanmaa itäinen. Included with this rifle is a Finnish white leather sling. This rifle would be an excellent shooter or as an addition to a World War 2 collection. C&R eligible!
