1833 E. Whitney Model 1822 .69 Cal Musket
1833 E. Whitney Model 1822 Second Contract Musket chambered in .69 cal. Overall this musket is in very good condition. Mechanically this musket functions as it should. This musket was converted from flintlock to percussion using the cone in barrel arsenal method. Original three band musket, has not been cut down or modified other than the percussion conversion. The bayonet is a US Model 1816 "Socket" bayonet. The button style ramrod is period correct, but probably not original to the gun as it seems an inch to short. This would be a great addition to Historical or Military collection. No FFL needed, ships direct to your door.
